In Indonesia this series popularized by Lativi, then the right to broadcast events which are produced by Nickelodeon bought by Global TV. This cartoon was created by a marine biologist and animator Stephen Hillenburg and then released through United Plankton Pictures Inc. company. The series is the setting located in the Pacific Ocean in the town of "Bikini Bottom" (meaning the subordinate bikini) and surrounding areas.
Character
The main character Spongebob is a yellow sea sponge who lives with his pet, Gary, a sea slug that behaves as a cat.
Spongebob lives next door to his best friend Patrick, a starfish and a neighbor who was always hostile to it: Squidward, an octopus who do not like to socialize, have the properties of a grouch, and the hobby of playing clarinet.
Humor-humor in the story of this series comes from the daily behavior Spongebob innocent, optimistic, always cheerful, and has a good prejudice against anyone.
